The World Association of Girl Guides and Girl Scouts (WAGGGS), is a global movement dedicated to empowering girls and young women. With over 152 member organizations spanning across 152 countries, WAGGGS is the largest voluntary movement dedicated to girls and young women in the world.


WAGGGS focuses on providing girls and young women with opportunities for personal development, self-expression, and learning through a values-based educational approach. Our programs cover a wide range of areas including leadership, social justice, environmental sustainability, health and well-being, and global awareness. We are committed to promoting gender equality, inclusion, and diversity, ensuring that girls and young women from all backgrounds have equal access to opportunities and resources. Through our diverse membership and partnerships, we aim to amplify the voices and perspectives of girls and young women in decision-making processes and advocate for their rights and needs. In summary, WAGGGS is a global organization working towards the empowerment of girls and young women through non-formal education programs, leadership development, and advocacy.
