About


The Planning and Programming Secretariat of the Presidency of Guatemala (SEGEPLAN) is the State planning body and support to the powers of the Presidency of the Republic, whose functions are determined in the Law of the Executive Organism (Ley del Organismo Ejecutivo). The Secretariat is in charge of formulating and transferring guidelines that allow the fulfillment of the strategic vision of development, contained in the National Development Plan, and which is specified in the National Planning System through national development priorities.

We are the planning body of the State of Guatemala by constitutional mandate and guide of public management for development.


Vision 


SEGEPLAN aims to be the driver of development in Guatemala, working towards solid, innovative planning geared towards meeting the population's priorities.
