The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Panama is the entity in charge of directing and coordinating Panama's foreign policy, international cooperation and diplomatic relations.


To be a renewed, well-positioned, efficient and modern Foreign Ministry, with highly competitive professionals that promote the country's capacity for dialogue and agreement and, coupled with this, be a vanguard leader in the region for the sustainable global development agenda .


To formulate, propose, and execute the foreign policy guidelines in order to position Panama as a country of dialogue and mediation, defending and protecting the interests of the Panamanian State in the international arena and promoting international cooperation for the benefit of the Panamanian Nation.
